Are you ready to WOW? Is your company one of them?

Nissan is engaged in continuous development of the following:

a) Nissan Intelligent Mobility

b) Nissan Connected Cars

c) Nissan CRM

d) Nissan Customer Mobile Applications

e) Nissan Big Data, Data Warehouse, and Cubes.

These will be the keys to make the customer WOW, and the full implementation is set in 2020.

Nissan Intelligent Mobility is about Technology & Customer. The tagline, “TOGETHER WE RIDE”. Promoting a stronger link between humans and the car with more control, and mobility becomes more enjoyable. Nissan have redefine the whole new driving experience, moving through life with more excitement, confidence, and connection to the world around you. Nissan vehicles can park themselves, watch what’s happening around you, and step in to keep you out of trouble. Nissan cars can actually learn from one another and EVs that recharge as they drive along, no strings attached. Nissan “Activate ProPILOT” to let your car automatically follow the car ahead at a preset distance and keep you centered in your lane (even around a gentle curve). ProPILOT can even bring your car to a full stop based on the traffic flow, then take it back up to speed when traffic moves again. Nissan Intelligent Forward Collision Warning watches two cars ahead and warns the driver to slow down, before the driver can even see what is stopping traffic. Nissan Intelligent Blind Spot Intervention changes lanes with confidence. This feature spots a vehicle in the blind spot area, and gives the driver a nudge back if the driver start to move over. Nissan Intelligent Lane Intervention keeps the driver between the lines if you start to drift out of your lane. Nissan Intelligent back-up intervention looks out behind you and automatically brakes for things you can’t see. Nissan Intelligent around view monitor allows driver to have a bird’s eye view of your surroundings, so you the drive see what might have missed. Nissan Intelligent Distance Control monitors the flow of traffic, so the driver always following at a safe distance.

Renault-Nissan has adopted Microsoft's Cloud Azure-based Connected Vehicle Platform. The platform contributes to fully-autonomous driving using features such as state-of-the-art advanced navigation systems, remote monitoring of vehicle status, and over-the-air (OTA) software program updates. At the same time, the platform aims to free the driver from driving tasks to enrich their time spent in an automated vehicle by providing a mobile connection to the outside world and services. Nissan will introduce its Seamless Autonomous Mobility (SAM) platform, a remote monitoring system for automated vehicles, in technical field testing of the Easy Ride driverless vehicle mobility service. In January 2018, Nissan announced that it plans to conduct additional testing to further advance its Seamless Autonomous Mobility (SAM) platform that was jointly developed with NASA by conducting a working demonstration of the technology. SAM represents a major milestone for its Nissan Intelligent Integration infrastructure technology, which is considered key to accelerating the deployment of autonomous mobility services. In Japan and the U.S. there are legislative proposals to require remote monitoring systems for field testing of driverless vehicles on public roads. A connected ecosystem of drivers, cars, and communities is key to a cleaner and safer world. Nissan is playing a central role in defining what the roads of the future will look like, from autonomous cars to traffic management systems to car sharing. Seamless Autonomous Mobility (SAM), for example, is a system designed make autonomous cars smarter with every trip. It uses human mobility managers to help autonomous cars deal with the unexpected, like construction zones, then share what they have learned with other cars in the system – a case of human and artificial intelligence creating a sense of community on the road.
